From Forbes Magazine – Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, a 500-store barbecue chain in the US is using the cloud and Big Data tools to engineer profitability across all its stores. The move has so far saved US$350,000 in upfront costs and allowed the chain to analyse complex metrics in one day instead of 30.
