Independent Study: Total Economic Impact of DMExpress

In a recently commissioned independent study by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Syncsort, Forrester analysed a single customer using DMExpress for data warehousing, database marketing, customer data integration and analytics, to determine the economic impact and potential return on investment (ROI) that enterprises may realize by deploying DMExpress.
The study utilised Forrester’s Total Economic Impact™ (TEI) methodology. TEI not only measures costs and cost reduction (areas that are typically accounted for within IT) but also weighs the enabling value of a technology in increasing the effectiveness of overall business processes.
Some of the headline conclusions from the study included:
- DMExpress achieved 105% ROI
- Realised cost savings and productivity benefits
- A sound technology investment for challenging times
The study also shows how the calculations were done and the assumptions that were made, which could clearly be of use to other customers putting together a business case for investing in DMExpress.
